Valencia

Valencia, located on the eastern coast of Spain, is a city known for its historical architecture, cultural festivals, and modern developments. The city’s historic center features landmarks such as the Valencia Cathedral, the Silk Exchange (La Lonja), and the Central Market. Valencia is also famous for the City of Arts and Sciences, a futuristic complex designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, which includes a planetarium, an opera house, and an interactive science museum. The city is renowned for its annual Fallas festival, where large, elaborate sculptures are paraded through the streets and then burned in celebration.

Valencia is also the birthplace of paella, one of Spain’s most famous dishes, and its location on the Mediterranean coast makes it a popular destination for beaches and outdoor activities.
