Belfast

Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, is a city with a complex history and a significant industrial heritage. It played a pivotal role in the shipbuilding industry, most famously as the birthplace of the RMS Titanic at the Harland and Wolff shipyard.

The city’s history is marked by the Troubles, a period of conflict that has shaped its modern identity.

Today, Belfast is known for its cultural revival, with landmarks such as the Titanic Belfast museum, which chronicles the ship’s history, and the vibrant Cathedral Quarter, known for its arts and nightlife. The city’s architecture ranges from Victorian buildings to modern developments, reflecting its transformation over time. Belfast is also the political and administrative center of Northern Ireland, housing the Northern Ireland Assembly at Stormont.
