Copenhagen

Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, is a city known for its high quality of life, rich history, and innovative urban design. Located on the eastern coast of the island of Zealand, Copenhagen is a major cultural and economic hub in Scandinavia. The city is famous for landmarks such as the Tivoli Gardens, one of the world’s oldest amusement parks, and the statue of the Little Mermaid, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale.

Copenhagen’s architecture ranges from historic buildings like the Amalienborg Palace, the residence of the Danish royal family, to modern structures like the Copenhagen Opera House.

The city is also noted for its extensive cycling infrastructure, making it one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world. Copenhagen is a center for Danish design, cuisine, and sustainability initiatives, with numerous parks, waterfronts, and green spaces integrated into the urban environment.
